Located on a beautiful beach between Bara and Tofo, about 25km from Inhambane, the lodge is a hidden beach oasis. It offers understated elegance and unparalleled ocean views, specifically designed so that from the bar, restaurant, lounge, pool and villas, the full magnificence of the Indian Ocean is just a glance away. The five exclusive villas have been designed to maximize the spectacular views of the ocean, and to give the privacy and solitude each guest deserves. They offer a unique mix of the rustic and the luxury, nestled among the natural dunes, providing an underlying sense of relaxation and rejuvenation. Each villa has its own deck, outside shower, day bed and hammock, with 180 degree, unobstructed ocean views.
All rooms have open-plan, en-suite bathrooms with basin, toilet and frame-less shower with a view on the ocean.
They are equipped with-king size or twin beds, mosquitoes’ net, purified water, tea and coffee facilities, ceiling fan and a safe.
Spacious terraces with comfy sitting areas await you with stunning views over the bay.
The lodge has a restaurant and bar, swimming-pool, games and books.
Please note that electricity is created solely by solar power. Electrical appliances can be charged during the day. In the evenings, the lodge runs off the power stored in the batteries during the day.
Telephone reception is decent and internet access is available through “internet sticks” at an additional charge.
Payment by VISA is accepted but a 5% charge for credit card transactions applies.

The water comes from a borehole. It has been tested and found to be very good drinking water. Water heaters are solar-powered and unless there is no sun for 4 consecutive days, the insulation on the system keeps the water temperature hot.
